CannKnow aims to centralize the global cannabis, hemp, and cannabinoid body of knowledge that currently exists through government agencies, educational and research organizations, and associations in an organized manner to enable basic understanding of fundamental topics and the development and improvement of responsible practices.
Chapters are developed and maintained under the supervision of the CannKnow Expert Committee and Administrative Team to ensure content reflects the best available information. The content within CannKnow is reviewed and updated as deemed necessary.
CannKnow content is current as of the date indicated as "Last revised" on each topic page. Cannabis Knowledge Network members are invited to contribute to the development and refinement of content within their area of expertise to help ensure the knowledge base is current, credible, and accessible for the rest of the community.

CannKnow Expert Committee provides strategic content direction and ensures the appropriateness and quality of CannKnow content. They support CannKnow Administrators and Content Contributors with expert insights and feedback.
CannKnow Administration
In the spirit of championing a globally responsible and scientifically led approach to the research, development, and commercialization of medical and non-recreational cannabinoid products, CannKnow is funded and administered by Verdeya SA for the purpose of working with industry partners, academic institutions, and regulatory bodies worldwide to improve evidence-based frameworks for cannabinoid product quality, safety, and predictability.

CannKnow content undergoes a multi-stage review process to ensure relevance to the current cannabis and cannabinoid landscape, while remaining free from commercial bias.
Content is originally prepared by CannKnow Committee, Administrators and Members. Member contributions are volunteer based.
Once content is drafted and approved for necessity and relevance, it is then reviewed for quality, accuracy, and alignment with the Editorial Policy. Through this structured review process, the CannKnow Adminstrative team, in collaboration with CannKnow Expert Committee may recommend revisions to ensure content remains current and addresses relevant topics.
